The glory of Fenghai —— ZheLin site archaeological achievements exhibition

Zhelin Site is located on the north bank of Hangzhou Bay, which is the southernmost point of the important geographical demarcation line of Shanghai in prehistoric times, which is about 5000 years ago. From 2017 to 2018, the Shanghai Municipal Administration of Cultural Heritage organized archaeological exploration in the underground cultural relics burial area, proved the cultural accumulation of the main body of the site, and preliminarily confirmed that Zhelin Site is a small coastal settlement during the Liangzhu Culture period, which plays an important role in the study of the prehistoric settlement structure and paleoenvironment in Shanghai area.

This exhibition is based on the archaeological perspective, with two archaeological excavations of the Zholin site as the foundation, to display the latest archaeological data, through useing archaeological language, to show more than 1450 square meters of archaeological excavations in the cemetery, ash pit, ash ditch and pillar cave group and other relics, to tell the historical story of the late Liangzhu Culture of Shanghai small settlement
