Danjia Qingwen—— Chinese character cultural relics essence exhibition

The birth of character is the beginning of Chinese civilization. As the longest continuously used script in the world, Chinese characters are associated with the development of Chinese civilization, condensing the Chinese people's world outlook, view of life and values,and with its unique persistence and continuity, it has witnessed the ancient and modern dialogue across thousands of years.

This exhibition shows 189 cultural relics related to Chinese characters from 26 museums and cultural institutions across the country, which focus on the origin of Chinese characters, development and evolution, internal power and long-term meaning. By showing the beauty of writing, art and application of Chinese characters, it explains the historical superiority of Chinese characters that have been passed down in one line for thousands of years, and highlight the huge driving force of Chinese culture for the inheritance of Chinese civilization.It is hoped that the audience can walk into culture, history and characters through these precious Chinese cultural relics, and explore the foundation of Chinese civilization.
