On April 1, 2017, the construction of the new Fengxian Museum project was officially started. Located on the shores of Jinhai Lake, Shanghai's fish, the building was designed by Sou Fujimoto, one of the most talented architects of Japan's new generation. The shape is composed of three interconnected and independent monomers. The facade is combined with copper grille and glass curtain wall, making the building naturally connected inside and outside. The design concept of the design is to integrate the natural advantages formed by the rich green water system of "Shanghai fish" with the artistic conception of "big pearls and small pearls" in Chinese traditional culture. Create a display space with unique charm and affinity.

The new museum of Fengxian
On May 16, 2019, the new Fengxian Museum was officially put into operation. The new museum covers an area of more than 20,000 square meters, and the construction area is about 36,000 square meters. The main body is composed of three interconnected and relatively independent Spaces, which are divided into three buildings, A, B and C. The three independent oval buildings are connected layer by layer through the public greening and circular passageway on the roof, the second floor corridor, the landscape water system on the first floor and the public space. In particular, the continuous slope change of the roof not only responds to the height control in the urban planning but also reduces the pressure on the surrounding environment, forming an interesting public activity site.
